Initial Single Session - $250

Key behavioural issues - Applying the new training style to key issues such as barking, jumping or reactivity.
The initial session looks to build a foundation for the dogs to reliably follow obedience commands and trusting the owner in challenging situations. Initial sessions are usually conducted at your home and run for 1 - 1.5hrs.

K9 Connection have a 2 session minimum to allow the owner and dog the best chance to take the training method on board, this involves an initial session and a follow up session usually 2 weeks after. Together the initial cost will be $400. Follow on sessions can be booked individually after this if required.
Group Training Classes
K9 Connection Dog Training has commenced fortnightly group training sessions as of January 2024. These classes are open to all members who have completed 2 or more training sessions and allow members to practice in a safe environment.
Sessions are always evolving to give members and their dogs real experience and scenarios. Group sessions focus on dogs following obedience commands reliably, increasing the distance you can get away from your dog while dogs maintain a given command, increasing distractions around your dog while they maintain a given command and extending the duration your dog can reliable hold a given position. These sessions are also a great opportunity to work on dogs reactivity and confidence building.
Walk & Train - $90
Walk and trains are aimed at members that have completed an initial training session. This allows our trainers to take the dogs for walks and get the benefit of training at the same time. This helps keep the dogs accountable and gives the trainers an opportunity to pass on additional guidance on training at home.

Training Halter Size Chart
Fitting is simple...
Adjust the Neck Strap to fit (a tight, snug fit high on the neck is best). Take the Halter off again)
Slide the Nose Strap over the dog's muzzle (reward the dog with a little treat to ease any concerns)
Buckle the Neck Strap
Pull down on the Lead Ring (this adjusts the Training Halter to fit the dog's face)
Slide the cord lock to about 1cm below the D-Ring tab under the dog's throat
Attach a lead to the O-Ring on the cord, and your dog is ready to go
Measuring your dog for a Training Halter
You could guess the size, but it would be like buying an outfit without even trying it on, so here is info on how to get the best fit for your dog.
The Noseband and Cords on the Training Halter allow for a adjustment, so we base the sizing on a dog's neck measurement
Use a soft tape measure place it around your dog's neck up close behind the ears, this is where the neck strap should fit and take a snug to tight neck measurement.
Important: If your dog fits between 2 sizes, generally select the smaller size.
UNLESS you are fitting a growing dog in which case you should go for the larger size to allow for future growth.
